Cararthenshire Coast Path Walking Holidays
New for 2019.
Carmarthen Bay Coast Path is 74 miles (118 km) long of great diversity.
Our packages start at Amroth (where the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path ends) then follows the coastline to Pendine before turning inland at Saundersfoot (avoiding the firing range). Onwards to Laugharne where Dylan Thomas resided. The path meanders inland to St Clears then back to the coast at Llansteffan then onto the old market town of Carmarthen. Onwards to Kidwelly ending at Llanelli and around the estuary ending at Peclawdd.
The first part of the Carmarthen Bay Walking Package is an easy to moderate walk, very diverse with fresh water marshes, salt marshes, sand dunes, pine forests. Pembrey Country Park is on the walk a 500 acre of landscaped woods and parkland leading down to the Burry Port harbour. After Carmarthen the terrain changes slightly to woodland, farms and fields to Ferryside and onto Kidwelly.
All our packages include accommodation (bed and breakfast) in en-suite rooms, maps and route book, door to door luggage transfer, people transfer where necessary and our back up service.
Our prices are based on 2 persons sharing a room.
For solo walkers walking on their own, there will be an added charge of £30 per night.
For those walking with others, but wanting a single occupancy, there will be a single supplement charge of £20 per night.
Rest days will be from £45.00 per person per night.
